A GUIDE TO ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES

Student Podcast

It is not as hard as it seems to become a podcaster or content creator. Below are the things you can use to begin with. If you are very shy to stand in front of the class, this is your moment to shine. Just read your material and record it then save it, just like that.

If you have a computer or a laptop, you can use it to record your voice and edit it later.

A good microphone is a big help, but not necessary, but if you have it, you can use it as well.

All you need is your mobile phone to record your voice. Use the headset to record for a better audio quality.

Step 1: Record

Now that you have the materials ready, all you need to do is record it then listen to it if it is good enough for everyone to understand, repeat the recording if necessary to get the best result.

Step 2: Polish

If you finished recording your materials, polish it by removing the unnecessary background noise or long pauses. You can download any APP on your phone to edit your voice if you don't already have it. Otherwise, just ask a friend to help you polish it to make the audio sound better.

If you are using a computer or laptop, you can download the free editing software Audacity.

Audacity works for both Mac and PC and best of all, it's free! But if you want to be more professional and you want paid a version, you can try Adobe audition, but not necessary, just use the free one.

Step 3: Submit

If everything is done and you are ready to submit it, review it one more it and check that every file is properly labelled or named to avoid confusion during the submission. If you have more than one audio file, it is best to make a folder and put all the materials together for easier access and submission.

If all is well, submit it by sending it to slayao@gmail.com
